Some of my Current Favorite Homes for Sale –
I have to admit I have some favorite homes that I love showing here in Aldea. There are a few gems that really stand out from all the rest. What makes these home more interesting is the design, layout, finishes & their site orientation.
After viewing many of the homes everywhere, I often find awkward floor plans, rooms that have no relationship to the views & outside spaces, and uninteresting architecture, covered up by expensive finishes that try to hide the lack of design. I am opinionated for sure & I have high expectations, especially after living with a talented husband who designs homes & is a community planner. John has opened my eyes to good design & I have lived in award winning architecturally interesting homes for now over 24 years.
So here are some of my favorite homes for sale in Aldea at this time.

What I love about this house is the single level, the private inner courtyard and upscale finishes in an architectural designed home. There are private outdoor spaces off each bedroom, each with views of the arroyo to the south. The finishes are very upscale and the home is in very good condition. There is a more formal living room off the open kitchen and a less formal TV/Media room that is off the hallway towards the bedrooms. The two bedrooms share a bathroom, while the master bedroom has a large comfortable bathroom with soaking tub and large walk-in shower. The views are minimal, yet very special. The house feels like an oasis. Sitting in the inner courtyard in all seasons would be a real delight.

What I love about this home, is that it lives more like a single family home than a townhome. The views to the south from the living area and the master suite are captivating. The home lives outside as well as inside. One can easily imagine eating breakfast, lunch & dinner outside in the private yard. The main level master suite would make an excellent office as it has direct access off the entrance enclosed courtyard. The upstairs master suite has its own private deck complete with sunscreens and 180° views to the mountains. The finishes are upscale, well maintained and the property is in “move in condition” to be sure. This is not a distressed property and has been lovingly maintained.

What I like about this home is the openness and the views from the the living & dining area. The yard to the south is fenced in and offers great views to the south & west. The house is architecturally designed and has great finishes and is in great condition. The single level makes it easy to live in.

What I love about the house…. what isn’t to love? The inner courtyard is the best in all of Aldea, the fixtures and finishes are excellent, the master suite has great views, the guest suite woks beautifully as a separate office from the home yet shares the courtyard beautifully. The home is stunning, the best design in Aldea, in my opinion. The builder, Casa de Vistas, created the best homes in all of Aldea, from patio homes, to townhouses and single family homes, all of them with his touch of elegance & old world style. His houses stand out among the rest because his old world finishes, architectural details and a deep understanding of the hacienda lifestyle. To walk through this home is a special rare opportunity to experience what Santa Fe lifestyle is all about.
