First Snow of the 2012 Winter Season –

Ah snow! It is why I moved to Santa Fe. In winter the “adobe” garden walls look their best when the snow lays across the horizontal planes. The instant quiet is astonishingly noticeable and the crisp cold air stings ones face. I LOVE this time of year the best.

Aldea looks so peaceful in the snow; houses nestled close together creating a harmony of garden walls & coyote fences inter-connected and topped with a blanket of snow.

The Aldea Plaza lights are a real treat when you drive home through our community. We are so fortunate to live in a community that plows the roads & maintains the streets after a storm. The Aldea crew was pushing snow & clearing the roads late into the night & early morning. Just another reason to live here in Aldea!!!
